Open Question: Most Devastating Events ?
What are the most devastating events you’ve ever heard of.
For me, it would definetly be 9/11.
Others would be the Columbine High School shooting, war in general and the Oklahoma City Bombings. These are just my opinion,s I’d like to hear yours.

Voting Question: I was sited for ‘failure to yield from a stop sign’?
I was headed west… east and west traffic had stop signs, north and south did not. I stopped at the sign, checked traffic and proceeded. My car stalled as i entered the intersection, i put the car in neutral and tried to restart the engine but just as the motor fired a medium blue pick up truck traveling northbound hit my driver side door pinning me inside. I was sited for failure to yield from a stop sign. In the state of Oklahoma is that the law regardless? In the accident report there was no mention of witnesses, only the officer’s estimation of events.

Resolved Question: Crazy laws still in the books.?
So not a current event exactly, but these laws are still in effect and it’s interesting to see how far we’ve come and how crazy it was that these laws actually got passed. Feel free to share any you know of.
Arkansas - A man can legally beat his wife, but not more than once a month.
California - Peeling an orange in your hotel room is banned.
Conneticut - It is not allowed to walk across the street on your hands.
Illinois - Chicago prohibits eating in a place that is on fire.
Kentucky - Law only allows burglary to only be committed at night.
Louisiana - It is illegal to rob a bank and then shoot the teller with a water pistol.
Michigan - A woman’s hair belongs to her husband. To get anything done to it she must first have her husband’s permission or she could go to jail for up to 12 months.
Oklahoma - In Tulsa, it is illegal to open a soda bottle without a licensed engineer present.
Oregon - It is illegal to sleep in a refrigerator.
Texas - Criminal are required to give their victims 24 hours notice, either written or orally of the nature of the crime to be committed.
Those are just a couple I like.
