Resolved Question: If TCU, Clemson, Oregon and Boise State win out?
Do you think the BCS will have a bigger push against it in the senate regarding anti trust issues if this scenario plays out?

Imagine the controversy if two undefeated teams TCU and Boise State have wins over teams who are in BCS bowls and you have a team like Texas who has not played anybody except a depleted Oklahoma State team in the finals. I will be the first to admit Texas is a good team but the non conference schedule they CHOSE is just unacceptable.

Also adding to the controversy what if Boise State gets snubbed from all BCS bowls in this scenario. Add to this Boise State, Oregon, Clemson and TCU win their bowls to sweeten the pot.

All of the above scenario only requires 1 upset for it to happen and is generally accepted as the most likely chain of events excluding the 1 aforementioned upset.

P.S. If anybody brings up Boise State’s SOS please read http://rivals.yahoo.com/ncaa/football/ne… & http://collegefootball.rivals.com/conten… Note how Boise State has no control over what conference they play in or who they play in non-conference play UNLIKE Texas!

Resolved Question: Was this a crappy year for sports?
Well Florida won the BCS against Oklahoma who had no business being there in the first place. The Steelers won again. Once again the Lakers get another championship. Don’t even get me started on the Damn Yankees. Thank God the Puinguins beat the Red Wings, God I hate them. Every team I hate won every major sporting event. This was hands down my crappiest sports year ever. If it wasn’t for you too, what was your crappiest year?

Resolved Question: Will Tom Coburn succeed in forcing the Senate to read the ObamaCare bill?
http://hotair.com/archives/2009/11/07/coburn-plans-to-read-the-bill/

Tom Coburn, Republican Senator from Oklahoma, plans to have ObamaCare read on the floor of the Senate.

Of course, there has been a proposal before Congress in recent years to force them to read all their bills before they pass them. It is called the Read the Bills Act (see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Read_the_Bills_Act ) and is proposed by an organization called Downsize DC. Shouldn’t Congress be forced to read every one of their bills before they pass it? Isn’t it shameful that they routinely shove legislation through Congress without reading it (for example, the Patriot Act, the Bank Bailout, or the Stimulus)?

I applaud Senator Coburn’s desire to have ObamaCare read in the Senate and might watch this must-see event on TV. If you live in Oklahoma and wish to see the bill read before Congress, I suggest calling Senator Coburn’s office and encouraging him to go ahead with his plan. That should slow down the pace at which this Congress is taking away our few remaining freedoms.
